Women's Health

Client: Rodale Corporation

The idea of launching the sister to Men’s Health had been considered by Rodale for over ten years. The project finally got the green light in 2004 after the presentation of a successful prototype. Much like its brother magazine, Women’s Health is a bible of service journalism. It is a magazine about real life, with real challenges and real accomplishments. The magazine tries to break all the rules when it comes to women’s magazines: no more pandering fluff and patter, no more lightweight advice. The design and photography are bold, multi-layered and decidedly not “pretty”.
