MARYJANE FAHEY

After working as an art director in New York for a few years, Maryjane Fahey rose to the position of Creative Director of Roger Black Inc., a world-renowned editorial design firm. There she oversaw the redesigns of such well-established publications as FastCompany, Town&Country and Esquire, among other magazines. In 1999 she started her own design and branding firm, Maryjane Fahey Design. An award-winning professional in the field, Fahey has guided the redesign and launches of such diverse publications as Women’s Health and BusinessWeek in the US, Nuevo Estilo in Spain, and The Hong Kong Tatler in Asia. Her studio specializes in creating innovative publishing and digital experiences.

LAURA EISMAN

Laura Eisman is an award winning designer and accomplished art director. Her innovative thinking and intuitive nature led her to specialize in start-ups and digital development. Eisman conquered the internet early on, making her mark with the vision and creation of Girlshop.com, fashion's pioneer e-commerce site. Eisman was key to many publication start-ups such as Marie Claire and Family Life. She worked at Roger Black's Interactive Design Bureau, served as Creative Director at iVillage and Creative Consultant at AOL's StyleList. Laura Eisman continues to use her expertise in Internet, Mobile and Social Media design, guiding companies in the digital space.

MARIANA OCHS

Mariana Ochs is from Rio and works at the intersection of content design and branding. She worked at publishing powerhouses Conde Nast and Hearst before joining Roger Black Inc, designing magazines such as Esquire, Premiere and Newsweek. Between 1996 and 2001 she ran a studio in New York, and has been back in Rio since 2002. Her projects include magazines Vogue Brasil, CartaCapital,  Joyce Pascowitch, São Paulo Fashion Week, Folha de SP and the web site lilianpacce.com. With Maryjane Fahey, she has created the award-winning redesign of Asia Tatler, Style magazine for the Sands Group in Las Vegas, Macao and Singapore, as well as magazines and newspapers in Canada, Switzerland and Poland. Her work has won several design and art direction awards.

LESLIE MANN

Leslie Mann is an award-winning art director. Born and raised in Sewanee, Tennessee, after graduating with a BFA in painting from Bard College, she studied design at School of Visual Arts. She spent 15 years honing her graphic design skills at some of the best studios in New York, including New York Magazine and Rolling Stone. Her wide-ranging expertise encompasses the design of magazines, brochures, websites, and identities.

MARY SCHAFRATH

Mary Schafrath's career spans ten years with experience in editorial, catalog, luxury branding and digital design. Graduating with a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2006, Schafrath  moved to New York and began working with Maryjane Fahey Design. She has since worked with many prestigious studios in New York including catalog design with Robert Valentine, branding and website design with Kenneth Cole New York, event design with the Wall Street Journal and tablet design with Cosmopolitan and Food & Wine Magazine. Mary Schafrath continues to apply her strong design expertise in an ever-expanding digital world through website and tablet design.
